JR East Hotel Mets Premier Gotanda

Loved the location. Close to supermarkets, a Don Quijote and Family Mart. It was convenient to come back from a long day of shopping and not have to walk far with all the bags. This hotel is in the station. The staff was super responsive to my emails.

Not having a wardrobe in the room where you can put your things

It was a very clean and quiet, feels like an upscale property, very well managed. The toilet, shower, and sink are in separate areas. We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the train station. We found yummy breakfast at a bakery just outside the hotel entrance and the train station entrance.

The mattress was too firm for our liking. The room was quite small but that was expected.

Super convenient location with entrance right inside JR Gotanda Station. Room was quiet despite being next to the railway line. Decent size room was clean and well maintained.

Hotel right above the train station on the Yamanote Line in Tokyo, quieter but convenient part of Tokyo. Amenities are nice and toilet and bath separate

Rooms a tad small

very close to the JR Gotanda station. has convenient store, restaurants , drug store , easy to go anywhere.

It was just above Gotanda station, which has both JR and subway lines which made travelling extremely convenient, and just a few stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku. There are also many food options (even an ichiran ramen) around, a few shopping options and even supermarkets in the next building. Great option away from crowded areas but still so accessible which was great. Hotel was also new and clean, room size is quite typical of a Japanese hotel.

Great location! Big TV in the room with YouTube. Nice breakfast includes a hot dish plus a salad bar with fruits including pineapple, red grapefruit & lychee! Our double room feels spacious. Very convenient for catching public transport. Plenty of restaurants & izakaya (居酒屋) nearby, especially good if you want to experience local food culture.

The shelves & the blinds in the hotel restaurant need some attention for cleaning.

Location, cleanliness, comfort

There were some rigid staffs and most of the staffs lack of English-speaking ability (only 1 senior lady staff who could communicate quite well).

The location was the most convenient being connected to the JR Gotanda station! Uniqlo was on the second floor and the Atre building was a short walk by walking bridge for shopping. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Shower and toilet were great! Also enjoyed the bar/restaurant on the lobby floor - we frequented there for drinks and meals. Fully enjoyed our stay and was happy to have it be our last hotel of our trip. Arigatou-gozaimashta!!

The best place that you might consider to stay in Tokyo. Just right downstairs in the JR station. Quiet place that you can have a good rest in the city town.

Love the location. It’s right on the Yamamoto station line. Just leads than a minute walk after exiting the train.

Everything. The bed was comfortable with two pillows (small and big) for our choices. The facilities were perfect especially the bathroom with bathtub and small chair for sitting bathing in Japanese style. The amenities provided were of high quality. The food including breakfast was even great with good quality and quantity. The location is also very perfect, just close to JR station. Most JR hotels were reliable and highly recommended.

So many facilities, great hospitality, convenient location, easy check in/check out. The bath and shower are amazing.

Gotanda is a business hub and there are a lot of people going in and out throughout the day. Although conveniently located, the business is something to kee in mind when traveling with large luggage

Excellent service, highly professional staff from reception to housekeeping. Location is super.Particularly like the fact that my request during booking was all answered and delivered.

Sometimes the washing machines are quite fully occupied.Choice of pillows can be more as pillows are extremely important to many people.

The rooms were surprisingly large with two double beds and the baths included a full shower room and deep full sized bath tub.

Most of the front desk is all automated kiosk.

Terrific location, extremely close to the train station, and stilll very quiet. Right on the JR Yamanote line with easy access to Shibuya. Also very easy to get to the Haneda and Narita airports.
